We have a novel system available that includes a radio-guided surgical probe, which detects any radiation generated by injected and concentrated material in a tumor, facilitating its targeting location and resection, which avoids large scale dissections and resections. We employ this on surgical resections in parathyroid, adrenal gland, insulinoids, sentinel lymph node in breast cancer, melanoma, and gynecological as well as urological surgery. |
