The Cardiology Service has a highly qualified and professional personnel with ample experience in clinic Cardiology, non-invasive diagnostic studies, electrophysiology, and hemodynamics.

It also has modern equipment that allows for precise diagnostics of the heart’s function as well as any alteration. It also has the support of other services such as cardiac rehabilitation, cardiovascular surgery, and nuclear medicine.

We carry out echocardiograms in all range of simple images or with contrast, in one of the country’s most modern pieces of equipment, which allows for precise evaluation from premature babies all the way to full sized adults.

For the transesophageal echocardiograms, we have very thin probes that reduce the patient’s discomfort. We also perform pharmacological stress studies or exercise related.

In the field of electrocardiography, we perform studies at rest, conventional effort or nuclear medicine tests, and Holter monitoring with cutting edge equipment. We also carry out ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.

HEMODYNAMICS
The Clinic has a group of hemodynamists with plenty of experience on diagnostic studies or in therapeutic procedures such as angioplasty, coronary or peripheral, simple or medicated stent implant, balloon valvotomy, implant for aortic counterpulsation or short circuit percutaneous closure.
Recently, the clinic has acquired a Siemens angiograph, with excellent resolution and digital image handling.

ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY
We perform basculant table tests and electrophysiological diagnostic and ablation tests with radiofrequency for treatment of arrhythmias. We also implant and perform pacemaker reprogramming.
