The human group responsible for this service is made up of highly recognized personnel both from the quality and competence standpoint in the perioperative field, which offers its services in: Operation Rooms, Maternity Rooms, Intensive Care Units, as well as in other places outside the operation room such as in Endoscopy, CAT SCAN, Magnetic Resonance, high dose Brachitherapy, and Fertility Service.

The service’s great strength is represented in the multidisciplinary team of human talent, which is comprised of specialists from all different fields of the medical know-how. We highlight anesthesia in Kidney Transplants, Cardiovascular Anesthesia, Pediatric Anesthesia, Obstetricts-Gynecology Anesthesia, and Neumology Anesthesia.

PAIN CLINIC

Currently, a medical subspecialty exists called pain medicine “Algology,”which is oriented towards and studies the treatment of pain. It uses high complexity pain diagrams, which requires a group of doctors who carry out interdisciplinary work (Neurologist – Psychologist – Oncologist – Physical Therapist – Anesthesiologist).

Here we treat two types of pain:
1 – Sharp acute pain originating post-operative, from some trauma or diverse pathologies (Lumbalgy- Herpes Zoster, etc.)
2 – Chronic pain originating from benign pathologies (Lumbalgy- Neuralgia – Migraines) or from malignant pathologies (Cancer).

This treatment has its post-operation recovery advantages, by early mobilization, we avoid complications such as neumonia- pulmonary thromboembolism, and we cut down on hospitalization time and obtain well-being for the patient and family.

In the pre-anesthesia consultation, the anesthesiologist will inform you about the different modern techniques on post-operative analgesia, from which you will be able to select according to the type of surgery you plan to undergo, analyzing it with the anesthesiologist.
